Friday’s Ride: Short Day’s Journey To Night

Yep, contrary to as things may seem I’m not just sitting in a corner ratzafratzin’ over the twists and turns the renovation is taking. In fact, among the motions I’m going through I’m still doing those timelapsifications of my to/from bike commutes. Usually though,  I’ll only post something about them if there’s something that takes them out of the ordinary.

In this one from Friday’s ride home there’s nothing really remarkable, but I did like how in the hour and change it took me to get from Westchester just prior to sunset to Silver Lake, the day slips almost imperceptibly to night as I crank it mostly eastward along Jefferson Boulevard and northward along Vermont Avenue.
