		<description>Hmmm.  The L.A. Times editor chose a very noisy section of the L.A. River path.  Had he chosen the section south of Fletcher drive through frogtown, it would have been quieter, and it&#039;s still soft bottomed there (no?), so there&#039;s lot&#039;s of wildlife to see.

Best with a group; it feels safer.

I&#039;ll never forget the February 2008 Ride-ARC ride through that portion.  We all formed a line of blinking red tail lights about a quarter of a mile long that went up the river.  I missed taking a movie clip of that spectacle, so Los Angeles is just going to have to do that group ride again... and invite the editor.</description>

		<description>I suppose you could bathe in spring water but bathing in water treated by a water softener is often better because the water can be heated by your home water heater.

Water softening adds salts to the water and probably contributes to more water pollution.

I suppose you chose to drive instead of taking the bus is due to the uncertainty of arriving using the bus or maybe you are still holding a grudge against bus drivers? Or maybe you just saw the video of a bus burning in China?</description>
