sic • \’sik\ adverb [Latin] (circa 1859): intentionally so written — used after a printed word or passage to indicate that it is exactly as printed or to indicate that it exactly reproduces an original (Ex. Tom said he seed [sic] it all).

I have a friend who (about 5 years ago) had a huge water jug filled with coins. But he is so cheap, I mean, frugal, he was going to roll them all himself to avoid the 9% at the coinstar machine. We finally convinced him that A) his credit union has a coin counter with no mark up (or a very low one) and B) wasn't his time worth more than 9% on whatever he got? He finally saw the light and ended up with about $600 and lots of free time. Lots of quarters in that jug.

Yep. Used to have them at Union Federal Savings Bank, on Glendale Blvd., which later turned into Glendale Federal and then Cal Fed and then Sh... I mean CitiBank. They phased them out at some point, saying it cost the bank two much money. Never quite figured that one out.
