It didn’t take long for one of our local Anna’s hummingbirds to find the feeder I set up on the front porch. Though there’s obviously no basis in fact, I’d like to think this is either the mother of the hummingbird chick I rescued last summer, or the fully grown chick itself (caught on cam this morning):
