Silver Lake Stormwatch: November 08

There’s an air of “Oh why bother!?” when dealing with such paltry amounts of precipitation, such as that which fell upon our Silver Lake backyard yesterday. Trying to decide where the line sits between the 1/8th and 2/8ths marks is slightly silly. But Ben Franklin once said so eruditiously, “Measurable rain is measurable rain, bitches!” And I am not one to dispute that, even if it comes out to be a measly-assed 3/16ths of an inch, as shown, bringing us close to a lousy 2/3rds of an inch for the season:
