13.24 In 57.48
Posted by Will under biking
In support of my commuting sanity I did as I said I would today and biked to and from work. Just for the hell of it I hit the stopwatch at the redlight at Centinela and Sepulveda and decided to ride all-out, full-tilt and gung-ho hard as I could for the 13.24 miles homeward.
And faster than a gridlocked car dangit if I didn’t come in for a landing 57 minutes and 48 seconds (and two full buckets of sweat) later.
I was cookin’, baby!

At least we had a nice sea breeze. Trust your week is going well, or at least better now that you are back on the bike again.

Thanks Fraz. The week is going fine. I always have heightened expectations just to be able to immediately drop it into fifth gear and merge smoothly into the process but more realistically these first few days have been a bunch of baby steps and a lot of wondering whether they’re in the right direction.

Man, you is HARDCORE!
Do you bike to work, or put it on the bus?
Are you aware that Campbell National Park is located near a Pacific Electric relic?

Haven’t accessed the bus yet MA> Biked there and back and there again this morning today. And then I’ll bike home tonight get rested a bit and then go do the 10 Bridges ride. Hardcore indeed!
As to Campbell Nat’l Park I wasn’t aware of it much less the relics nearby!
