That’s media park, also known as CRANK MOB!!! (park) Notice how the vine isn’t growing along the railing as fast as it should.
They park like that a lot over by Kaiser don’t they?
That guy’s probably just camped out for the next CRANK MOB. 30 days . . .

what kind of cam do you use for your helmet? Brand, price, specs, where to purchase??

Hi Rogedog,
The cam I used to get the footage in this post was my Canon SD1000 digital cam, using it’s movie function. It’s a 7.1 megapixel cam that probably costs around $200.
In the past I’ve used my Canon ZR200 digital video camera bolted to my helmet or my handlebars but mostly now I just carry my SD1000 holstered to my belt.

That’s a bike lane? It’s huge! The ones here are much narrower - cars couldn’t park in them.

Easy there Valerie, it’s not ALL bike lane. It’s a curb parking lane and a bike lane combined. The problem wasn’t the truck being parked there it’s that it was parked all the way over to the left than the right.
