Having the good fortune to be one of 8,750 out of the million-plus who requested tix, I just got back from biking over to Dodger Stadium to pick up the necessary ornamentation and documentation to permit me enter the Kingdom of Jackopalooza tomorrow.

Wow Will!!! I am so happy you are one of the chosen ones so the rest of us can read about it on your website.
Michael Jackson will either walk out on stage to reveal the big hoax, or he’ll be in disguise watching the tribute with the rest of the audience, so keep your eyes peeled!

So I assume you’ll be biking in, of course–where’s the route? I’ll give you an escort in to DTLA. It would be an honor to bike with an official ticket-holder.

Thanks Ross! Not quite sure yet when I’m gonna head down there but yeah, the bike would be my mode even if it weren’t going to be a gridlocked hell.
Most likely the route will be my usual: I’ll take Sunset to Park to Glendale to 2nd downtown and get on Flower south to 12th or so.
If ya wanna meet at Brite Spot (at Park and Sunset in Echo Park) I’m thinking 8:30 a.m. might be a good time.

Useful website and interesting post. I really enjoy MJ’s music a lot. I have marked it to come back later.
