This morning while stopped on Redondo Boulevard between Adams and Jefferson trying to entice an entirely uninterested stray chihuahua to me for some kibble, I looked over and behind the fence of the house I was in front of I found this bunny, at right, just hanging out and grooming its coat while I tried in vain to convince the wayward dog that I was trying to be of assistance.
Seeing the rabbit reminded me of last December’s awesome and timelapse-video’d bunny encounter/capture that happened while biking home from work on Crescent Heights through the South Carthay neighborhood.

Long time ago in the 70’s there were “wild” rabbits behind the fence at the La Brea Tar pits.
In Orange county some areas have a bounty for the capture of rabbits that feast on gardens and yards.
