Yesterday I set up the digicam on a tripod a few feet away from the hummingbird sitting on two eggs in the backyard and got this little timelapse of her doing some nest reinforcement in the afternoon breeze. It’s roughly 90 seconds of real-time condensed into 11:

The nest itself is the size of a raquetball and there are two eggs inside, which I’d bet should be hatching any day now.
