I’m calling it 1.0625 inches or 1-1/16th for all you fraction fans. That brings the annual-to-date tally up near 5-1/3 inches or 5.3125 for all you decimal devotees.
I should and will note that yesterday’s rain accumulation from whenever it started late Thursday night/early Friday morning to Friday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. amounted only to 1/4 of an inch (0.25 for all you decimal demanders). At that point an overloaded cell moved in and by the time it passed by 6 p.m. it had dropped more than 3/4 of an inch — 0.75 for all you… agh, enough already.
