If you were in the vicinity of Silver Lake about 4 p.m. today did this Vicious Little Storm Cell That Cried blindside you, too? Dang! Sure, it grew overcast and colder and a little lightning-and-thundery a few minutes before the skies opened up, but who knew they’d open up with such a vengeance!? And then scoot on outta here. In the span of barely 20 minutes, it was over, but not before dropping just shy of a third of an inch onto our backyard.
I’m calling it 5/16ths or .3125″ officially, which brings our season-to-date total to 13.364″.
