Encino's "1,000 Year Old" Oak Tree - Plaque No. 1

Embedded in a boulder to the north of the tree was this plaque indicating the Encino Oak Tree's status as "Historic Cultural Monument No. 24," as declared by the "Cultural Heritage Board (now part of the the Cultural Afffairs Department), Municipal Art Department, City of Los Angeles."
